SEC Export Templates
In cases involving document productions to the Securities and Exchange Commission, there are specific standards that all producing parties must meet. We created a default export template that meets these specifications.
Now, users don’t have to spend tedious time entering the numerous requirements every time they open a new case. The template covers the data delivery standards for images, text files, native files, and load files. It also outlines the maximum export parameters set by the SEC.
The SEC Export Template will be available in all new databases created after the feature is launched.
Account Services Overview
The account dashboard will have a new page called “Account Services.” Our goal is to give users greater visibility into the additional services that Nextpoint performs for their account. Any service that has been completed will be logged there for users to view, and the page will refresh each day.
At the top of the page, you’ll find a running total of the service hours utilized and their cost. The page also features a table with detailed information on the date of the services, the project they were performed for, the billing rate, and more. Users can search, filter, and sort the information in the table. If you click on the category for each entry, you’ll find a detailed description of the services performed.
In December 2021, we released significant updates to our document review experience and introduced search hit highlights. After our user community had time to experience the new features, we listened to their feedback to help us further streamline their experience. Based on that feedback, we have developed a series of incremental updates to the document review experience.
Here are a few of the updates we’ve released:
When a user expands or collapses the Related Documents slider, Nextpoint will now remember that setting as the user navigates between documents. A related documents count will also appear in the slider.
Users can resize the coding panel in order to capture more real estate within the document viewer.
Zoom settings will be maintained when navigating between documents.
When viewing a document placeholder for PST and Zip container files, the documents extracted from that container during processing are now linked at the document-level as a search.
