Cloud Preservation Rolls Out Real-Time Capture of Twitter Data
CHICAGO- April 26, 2011
Nextpoint, Inc., the nation's leading provider of cloud-based regulatory, compliance, and litigation products, announces significant enhanced functionality to Cloud PreservationTM, the company's web and social media archiving service. With the April 2011 release, Cloud Preservation now immediately captures all data posted to Twitter in real time. This functionality is an industry-first, and forensically preserves all posted data, including externally linked pages within Tweets, regardless of future deletion or loss.
Cloud Preservation's SmartCrawlTM technology can be configured to archive and index individual Twitter account pages instantaneously. This functionality was previously unavailable in the social media archival space, and this latest advancement delivers the most comprehensive and accurate Twitter archive technology available on the market.
Cloud Preservation adds real-time Twitter capture to it's existing capabilities that allow users to archive Flash, streaming multimedia including YouTube and Vimeo, Javascript, Ajax, customized use of API feeds from numerous social media communities, and enhanced file capture from PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a host of other file types that may be made available for download.
"Cloud Preservation is the most advanced web archival product available on the market - which is why corporations, government agencies, and FINRA regulated organizations are using it daily to build a forensically sound archive of their social media content," said Rakesh Madhava, Nextpoint CEO. "This latest release targeting real-time Twitter capture directly answers a real business need for us customers. If it was on Twitter, it will be in your Cloud Preservation archive, even if has been deleted from Twitter."
