CHICAGO- January 18, 2011
Nextpoint, Inc., the nation's leading provider of cloud-based technology products to law firms and corporate law departments, announces the successful expansion and significant customer adoption of its cloud platform with the launch of Discovery CloudTM and Cloud PreservationTM products in 2010.
February 2010 saw the successful release of Nextpoint Discovery Cloud, an infinitely scalable processing, relevance review and production platform. Like all Nextpoint products, Discovery Cloud is a "Software as a Service" (SaaS) offering that has been recognized by industry experts and users for its ease of use, intuitive interface, processing speed, and groundbreaking price-point. Nextpoint customers are realizing profound cost savings as noted by The Wall Street Journal article, "Small Companies Look to Cloud for Savings in 2011" published in December 2010.
Nextpoint Cloud Preservation, a service for archiving websites, social media and other critical data living on the Web, was released in August 2010. Cloud Preservation was featured in The New York Times, as well as Read Write Web in November, and Nextpoint has realized a rapidly expanding customer base for the archiving service.
The Nextpoint Trial CloudTM product has continued to see aggressive adoption by firms of all sizes, and like all Nextpoint products, it's available via most major smart phone platforms and, of course, the iPad. Nextpoint is also proud to report that the Southern District of New York (SDNY) has required firms to use the company's Trial Cloud deposition designation report format.
"2010 saw the release of two new products in the Nextpoint cloud platform. Our products received terrific industry recognition and press, and most importantly, we welcomed a significant number of new users," said Rakesh Madhava, Nextpoint CEO.
"User growth, data acquisition, and revenue growth have exceeded our projections for 2010," continues Madhava. "Our cloud computing products are answering the growing need for better, lower-cost technology that is available 'on-demand.' We are very optimistic about our pipeline and we project continued growth for 2011."
